Την Παρασκευή 10 Νοεμβρίου ανακοινώθηκαν οι καλλιτέχνες, τα άλμπουμ αλλά και τα τραγούδια που διεκδικούν τα βραβεία Grammy Awards της 66ης τελετής η οποία θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 4 Φεβρουαρίου στην Crypto.com Arena στο Λος Άντζελες.
Η SZA συγκεντρώνει τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες, εννέα συνολικά, όλες για το άλμπουμ της “SOS”, το οποίο βρέθηκε στην κορυφή του Billboard 200 για 10 εβδομάδες. Ακολουθούν η Victoria Monét, η Phoebe Bridgers και ο παραγωγός Serban Ghenea (από επτά υποψηφιότητες), καθώς και οι Jon Batiste, boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo και Taylor Swift (από έξι υποψηφιότητες). Τα τραγούδια από την ταινία “Barbie” έλαβαν συνολικά 11 υποψηφιότητες σε επτά κατηγορίες. Φέτος, έχουμε και την εισαγωγή τριών νέων κατηγοριών: Best Alternative Jazz Album, Best Pop Dance Recording, και Best African Music Performance.
